The BAE Systems is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector to join its organization.
\n Responsibilities:
\n - Read and work to blueprints.
\n - Inspect weldments to various weld codes.
\n - Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.
\n - Process non-conformances for disposition.
\n - Provide technical quality support to production and engineering.
\n - Perform welding inspections. (VT, MT, PT)

Work Schedule: \n - Flexible, rotating schedule with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts
\n - Typical schedule: 2 x 10-hour shifts on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and 2 x 10-hour shifts on weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
\n - Total of 40 hours per week, with a 4/10 schedule
\n - Shifts may be adjusted based on business needs, with occasional floating shifts required

Required Education, Experience, & Skills \n - AWS CWI
\n - Inspect weldments to various code requirements
\n - High School Diploma with 2+ years of experience OR equivalent education/experience in quality/inspection/welding/NDT/etc.
\n - Proficient using MS Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
\n - Ability to read, interpret and work to blueprints.
\n - Working knowledge in GD&T principles and applications.
\n - Ability to read and comprehend raw material specifications

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills \n - Oracle MRP system experience preferred
\n - Proficient with First Article inspection preparations.
\n - PFEMAs
\n - Writing inspection plans
\n - Laser Scanner inspection technology experience preferred
\n - GD&T experience preferred
\n - Quality Tools knowledge and experience
\n

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $70735 - $120250
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
