Reviews and analyzes the data from implanted devices using specific programs; creates summaries and reports of the findings and test results using knowledge and understanding of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Reports abnormal findings to the appropriate provider; make device changes as directed. Provides patient education to patients, family, or significant others regarding use of loop recorders, device monitoring, use of remote monitoring equipment, symptoms to monitor for, appropriate testing follow up as necessary and as directed by the provider. Job Requirements Education Required: Bachelors degree in any field Preferred: Registered Nurse Experience Preferred: 1-2 Years Telemetry Experience Preferred: Prior ICU experience Preferred: Prior device or pacemaker experience Preferred: Understanding of cardiac arrhythmias/EKG strips Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of current EP implantable devices. Proficient in using computers and computer systems. Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams. Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: BLS in 90 days Required: ACLS within 12 months
