Key Outcomes65% of Time: Sing with the group and lead small group in rehearsals and performance. Prepare music ahead of time and/or have excellent sight-reading skills. Demonstrate healthy vocal technique and be available to share vocal knowledge with students. Demonstrate excellent rehearsal etiquette and musicianship: asking questions, marking scores, leading from within.15% of Time: Successfully lead small group in rehearsals and performance. Rehearse group efficiently. Use positive techniques to teach and guide. Demonstrate clear, positive leadership skills with verbal and written communication and conducting postures. Assist in choosing appropriate, pleasing repertoire.5% of Time: Create Rehearsal Tracks. Create accurate rehearsal tracks for the group’s repertoire. Do this in a timely manner in the format proscribed by the director. Demonstrate healthy singing, good intonation, and accuracy.15% of Time: Complete Administrative Tasks. Assist with uniform preparation. Assist with library organization. Assist with social media promotion. Write program notes and help with program creation. Assist with rosters and attendance. Recruit by greeting students positively and attending recruiting events. Other duties as requested by the director.
