Job summary:

Maintains and repairs buildings, facility equipment, and production equipment. Maintains all Byram Facility grounds and property.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs repairs and maintenance to multiple small buildings.
• Sets up preventive maintenance program and ensures compliance.
• Coordinate contractors for electrical, plumbing, and contractor needs.
• Supervises maintenance activities including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical. Supports same for the Fairfield Facility coordinating activities and outsourcing of efforts as required.
• Transports material between plants.
• Follows procedures as defined by CAD policies, procedures, and ISO9001:2000 requirements. Maintains confidentiality of all information processed.
• Adheres to the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) policies and procedures related to NIST 800-171 and completes all required CUI Awareness training, which includes collection, processing/handling, transmission, storage, and general safeguarding practices.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stretch, bend, kneel and stoop. The employee is regularly required to walk, communicate, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using appropriate moving devices. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Job Qualifications:

Required: High School Diploma. Ability to read and interpret instruction, sketches, diagrams and blueprints. Thorough knowledge of mechanical and facilities repair and & maintenance. Five years minimum experience in maintenance, machine shop experience and carpentry experience. Must pass the ATF Background check. Candidate must have reliable transportation as role requires travel between Byram, NJ and Fairfield, NJ.

Preferred: 4-5 years of related experience in a small manufacturing business.

Performs related duties as assigned. Regular and consistent attendance is required.
