\n Pay Rate: $19.53/hour
\n Shift: 3rd shift - 9:45 pm to 6:15 am (or until work is finished)
\n Sunday - Thursday nights, possible OT during week and on weekend
\n Possible Temp to Hire Opportunities
\n(Will train 1st week on 1st or 2nd shift, then start work on 3rd shift)
\n
\n What’s a typical day as a Forklift / Cherry Picker Operator? You’ll be:
\n• Unloading pallets and cases from inbound trailers and/or containers manually and/or using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as cherry picker, reach truck, double reach, sit down forklift, and motorized pallet jack.
\n• Accurately counting, verifying, and receiving product using radio frequency (RF) equipment and/or Voice Pick Technology.
\n• Documenting variances.
\n• Moving cases of product from the inbound dock to storage locations in the warehouse using a standing reach truck or stock picker.
\n• Moving pallets and/or cases from reserve location to pick location using a standing reach truck, stock picker, or sit down forklift.
\n• Operating a forklift and picking items as high as 35 feet in the air.
\n• Building pallets and delivering them to designated areas for shipping.
\n• Using a sit-down forklift, electric or manual pallet jack to load pallets.
\n• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
\n• Following safety policies and procedures and correcting or communicating hazards to management.
\n• Maintaining productivity and quality standards.
\n
\n This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
\n• Are able to count and perform basic math calculations.
\n• Must be good with heights
\n• Must be able to lift over 50#s
\n• Will be required to wear a harness
\n• Have a demonstrated ability to operate various MHE.
\n• Can follow general sequencing and process procedures.
\n• Have exceptional attention to detail, able to identify errors down to the single digit or letter.
\n• Have a strong attendance record.\n
