Hourly Rate:

• $17.50/hr - $20.50/hr\n

Experience Required:

• Selected candidates must have REACH TRUCK, EPJ, and/or SIT DOWN FORKLIFT experience\n

\n \n\n

Job Purpose:

\n\n

\n

\n\t
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.\n\t
• Handle all inbound and outbound freight properly and orderly.\n\t
• Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.\n\t
• Ensure all shipments are correctly staged, checked, and loaded properly.\n\t
• Properly store stock in the warehouse.\n\t
• Provide material handling services for warehouse shipping and receiving activities.\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

\n\n

\n

\n\t
• Assist the Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient warehouse operation.\n\t
• Operate REACH TRUCK, EPJ, SIT DOWN FORKLIFT\n\t
• Use computers and handheld RF equipment.\n\t
• Load and unload trucks/trailers safely using proper procedures.\n\t
• Work flexible 10 to 12-hour shifts and not afraid of heights.\n\t
• Pick and move stock weighing 1 lb. to 50 lbs. multiple times.\n\t
• Process outbound cross-dock freight.\n\t
• Store stock properly and maintain organized stacking.\n\t
• Verify shipment accuracy against paperwork for all deliveries.\n\t
• Complete daily forklift maintenance inspections.\n\t
• Handle customer products properly and orderly.\n\t
• Report accidents or damage to the Shift Supervisor immediately.\n\t
• Maintain access to dock doors.\n

Additional Responsibilities:

\n\t
• Possess a sense of urgency, accountability, and work with limited supervision.\n\t
• Exhibit good communication, problem resolution, and people skills.\n\t
• Be flexible with overtime and shift coverage.\n\t
• Utilize PC skills.\n\t
• Build pallets and break down stock for orders.\n\t
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse.\n

\n \n\n

Education and Experience Required:

\n\n

\n

\n\t
• High School Diploma or GED.\n\t
• Warehousing certifications are a plus.\n

\n \n\n

Language Skills:

\n\n

\n

\n\t
• Ability to read and interpret general business documents.\n\t
• Write reports and correspondence effectively.\n\t
• Present information clearly to managers, clients, and customers.\n

\n \n\n

Computer Skills:

\n\n

\n

\n\t
• Knowledge of Business Operating Systems, Internet, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet software.\n

\n \n\n

Physical Demands:

\n\n

\n

\n\t
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.\n\t
• Work comfortably in an indoor environment with physical activity requirements.\n\t
• Work under stressful situations with cognitive skills for multitasking.\n\t
• Maintain 20/20 corrected vision.\n\t
• Must be in sound physical health.\n
