Job Description

Global Senior Computer Network Support Specialist Join to apply for the Global Senior Computer Network Support Specialist role at TEKsystems Role and Responsibilities Oversee global network operations and services. Lead SME activities, collaborating with customers to develop skills and enhance capabilities. Install, upgrade, operate, and monitor LAN systems and servers in a Microsoft environment (CISCO certification preferred). Configure applications on LAN file servers, manage storage and backups. Maintain network management tools and audit trails. Communicate with Country Directors, ITA, and customers. Travel internationally and domestically, 2-3 weeks per month. Work independently with minimal supervision. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. At least ten years of relevant experience without a degree, or 4+ years with an undergraduate degree, or 3+ years with a graduate degree. Skills and Qualifications 4+ years managing server and network equipment, including Cisco configurations. Experience with Windows Server, AD, VMWare, Citrix, Cisco networks, Hyper V, application support. 3+ years working with M365 products. Ability to develop and maintain network standards and procedures. 2+ years maintaining cloud computing systems. Desired Skills Evaluating emerging network technologies (4+ years). Experience in large enterprise environments as a systems or network engineer (4+ years). Installing, troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (4+ years). Implementing and managing provisioning suites (DHCP, DNS). Using network analysis tools (sniffers) for troubleshooting (4+ years). Experience with Meraki Wireless or Cisco wireless (2+ years). Additional Information Willingness to travel to many third-world countries with appropriate precautions. Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs of equipment. Work Location and Travel This is a fully onsite position in Atlanta, GA, with up to 50% travel. Compensation Pay range: $45.00 - $46.83/hr.
