Pay Range Base pay: $1,248.00/yr – $1,248.00/yr (annual). Salary information: $31,200, commensurate with education and experience. Shift differential pay on the third shift may add up to $1,248 per year. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of cleaning methods Knowledge of cleaning materials Skill in using housekeeping equipment Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive relations with faculty, staff, and students Ability to work from 9 p.m. – 6 a.m., Monday – Friday Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Education: High school diploma or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma. Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license. Experience Experience with cleaning methods and cleaning supplies. Additional Considerations Experience working at a university. Experience using a buffer. Experience using a scrubbing machine. Conditions of Employment Classified position requiring a 12‑month probationary period for new and returning employees. Selected candidate must attend a 2‑day New Employee Orientation Program. Selected candidate must be able to work from 9 p.m. – 6 a.m., Monday – Friday.
