Location : St. Cloud, MN Job Type : Full-time Pay : $21-$35 Hours : Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM (Additional hours as needed) Reports To : Plumbing & Heating Manager Job Summary: Finken is looking for a motivated HVAC Apprentice to join our Plumbing & Heating team. In this role, you will work under a licensed or experienced HVAC Installer to gain hands-on experience in both residential and commercial HVAC applications. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the HVAC industry and achieve Journeyman certification. If you are eager to learn, hardworking, and ready to develop technical skills, this is a great opportunity to start your HVAC career! Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with installing a broad range of HVAC fixtures and components. Learn to operate tools and equipment safely and skillfully. Read and comprehend plans and blueprints for installations. Analyze and respond appropriately to emergency situations. Follow and execute oral and written instructions effectively. Work cooperatively with team members, customers, and supervisors. Ensure job sites and company vehicles remain clean, organized, and safe. Submit daily paperwork to the HVAC Manager. Follow all Finken safety policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications: Education & Training: No prior HVAC experience required; on-the-job training provided. Technical Knowledge: Ability to learn and use hand and power tools efficiently. Licensing: Must be willing to work toward Journeyman certification. Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs. unassisted and working in various conditions. Time Management: Punctuality and attendance are mandatory. Driving: Must have a valid MN driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Communication: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Work may require bending, standing, climbing, and walking for extended periods. Must be comfortable working at heights up to 3 ft. and lifting/carrying equipment. Must be willing to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed. Absolutely no smoking in company vehicles or buildings; permitted only in designated areas.
