Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager – Contract Role
Location: Onsite, Clayton (with occasional outdoor/construction site presence)

We are supporting a major pharmaceutical client in their search for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager to assist in the delivery of cross-functional projects within a structured PMO. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly regulated, fast-paced environment and would suit someone with strong coordination skills and prior exposure to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Project Manager and PMO in project execution
- Independently manage specific project deliverables aligned to scope, schedule, cost, and quality
- Monitor project KPIs and performance metrics
- Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and PM leadership
- Ensure clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist in managing changes in scope and maintaining project documentation
Required Background:
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years of project management experience
- Associate’s degree or vocational training with 4+ years of project management experience
- 2+ years of PM experience gained through military service
Preferred Experience:
- Prior involvement in cross-functional IT or engineering projects
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environments
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to function independently and within a team
- Knowledge of cGMP principles
- Comfortable working in loud, outdoor, or unconditioned environments when required
- Physically able to move items up to 33 lbs within a facility
