Unmanned-Aerospace is a startup headquartered in San Diego, California, developing a family of military and commercial drones.
In operation since 2019 and backed by the US Navy, we are a small and dynamic team, seeking a mechanical engineer for a full-time position. The GH-4 is a highly sophisticated, unique aircraft that is a combination gyrocopter/helicopter UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle).
The right candidate is a highly skilled, passionate, team-oriented mechanical engineer, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience. Some of the attributes that we are looking for are:
· Proficient in SolidWorks, and FEA analysis
· Creative in mechanical solutions
· Detail oriented
· Experience with manufacturing
· Experience running a 3D printer
· Works efficiently and in collaboration with other team members
· Must have hands-on mechanical and technical skills
This is a full-time position onsite at our San Diego location, with a trial-to-hire period.
