Qualifications Demonstrated hands-on experiences and publications in the area of integrated photonics including silicon, silicon nitride, lithium niobate or III-V integrated photonics Experience on testing and characterization of optoelectronic devices and systems In-depth understanding of semiconductor physics and devices Problem-solving mind, creative and good communication skills It would be nice if you had: Experience on design and optimization of photonic devices and photonic integrated circuits Responsibilities Collaborate with our researchers to push the state of the art in advanced photonic devices: Simulation / modeling of thin-film lithium niobate photonic integrated circuits (PICs) Performing experimental characterization of new PICs Present research findings through oral presentations within the team Generate publications for the leading conferences and journals in the field of photonics About the company Nokia’s transition to a primary focus on telecommunications began in the 1990s.
