Frank Productions is looking for a full-time Orpheum Theater General Manager to join our team in Madison, WI. Located in Madison, WI, Frank Productions was established in 1964 and is one of the largest concert promotion companies in the United States. Frank Productions, a joint venture partner with Live Nation, offers full-service concert promotion involved in every facet of live entertainment events, including talent buying, production, ticketing, marketing, sponsorships, and special events. We produce and promote events in arenas, performing arts centers, theaters, clubs and other venues across the U.S. We operate offices and venues in Madison, WI, Nashville, TN, Columbia, MO, and Charleston, SC. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining high standards of customer service for staff, customers, and vendors; identifying and maximizing revenue drivers while optimizing the overall guest and artist experience; managing venue operations and staff communication; coordinating event day activities including staffing and artist/VIP oversight; collaborating with departments to create innovative revenue growth offerings; overseeing labor and equipment expenditures and managing venue vendors/subcontractors; working with civic governmental departments and community; liaising with investigative and public safety agencies; coordinating event set-up; serving as main contact for venue needs including facilities maintenance and sponsorship; implementing security procedures; leading front of house and security staff; working with production on advancing and settlement needs; managing operational expenses and show recap; ensuring venue cleanliness and parking coordination; coordinating sponsorship activations; maintaining surveillance system; ensuring health & safety protocols; managing show reports and settlements; maintaining a positive work climate; upholding company mission and culture; being onsite for events; and other duties as assigned. Requirements include minimum 5 years’ experience as a general or operations manager in hospitality, expertise in profitability analysis and budgeting, leadership skills, willingness to work unconventional hours and travel, problem-solving skills, effective communication, organizational skills, commitment to diversity and inclusion, and proficiency with MS Office and company software. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 75 pounds, crouching, kneeling, twisting, bending, reaching, occasional work at heights, and exposure to large crowds and noise. The position is full-time (40+ hours/week) and at-will.
