Job Description

Position: Records Assistant (National Law Firm)

Location: Great Neck, NY

Comp Package: Base salary up to $45K, Paid Overtime, Full Benefits, Year-End Bonus, 401K+, etc.

Responsibilities for Records Assistant:

• Pick up mail from local US Post Office; deliver mail to US Post Office
• Responsible for delivery and pick up of facsimiles, mail and supplies within office
• Operate copy machines, facsimile machines, postage machines, binders, and computers
• Set up and break down food and beverages for meetings; maintain conference rooms
• Perform light manual tasks, including hanging pictures and assembling small furniture
• Perform errands outside office as needed (pick up and deliver documents, packages and supplies)
• Provide receptionist coverage as needed

Qualifications for Records Assistant:

• High School diploma required
• 6+ months of related experience
• Ability to read and understand information presented in written form
• Familiarity with standard office equipment, including telephone systems, copy machines, facsimile machines, computers, and scanners
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook
