Now Hiring: Structured Cabling Technicians (Tech 1, Tech 2, Tech 3)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Schedule: Full-time | First Shift | Overtime Available

We are hiring Structured Cabling Technicians of all levels to support ongoing commercial and infrastructure projects throughout the Atlanta area. Whether you're new to the trade or bring years of experience, we have roles that fit your skill level and offer clear advancement paths.

Position Overview

Technicians will install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling, including CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, coaxial, and fiber. Responsibilities include building and maintaining MDF/IDF closets, performing cable pulls, labeling, and ensuring all work meets BICSI, NEC, and project-specific standards. Projects may involve data centers, commercial construction, and public infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install and test structured cabling systems (copper and fiber)
• Build out MDF/IDF closets, including racks, patch panels, and network hardware
• Perform cable terminations, troubleshooting, labeling, and documentation
• Follow BICSI, NEC, and site-specific standards
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Collaborate with foremen, engineers, and project managers

Minimum Requirements (All Levels)

• Ability to work on ladders, use hand and power tools, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must own basic low‑voltage tools (snips, strippers, screwdrivers, etc.)
• Willingness to work overtime and in fast‑paced environments
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance

Experience Levels

• Tech 1: Entry-level; training provided. Some construction or cable experience preferred
• Tech 2: 1–2 years of structured cabling experience; able to terminate and test with supervision
• Tech 3: 3+ years of experience; able to work independently and lead small tasks or crews

Preferred (Not Required)

• BICSI Installer or Technician Certification
• CPR/First Aid, Confined Space, or Powder‑Actuated Tools Certification
• Manufacturer‑specific product certifications
• Experience in hyperscale data center environments
