Adecco is seeking an overhead crane and tugger operator for a client located in Loves Park, IL on 2nd shift. This is a TEMPORARY ROLE lasting until around March 2026.
This role involves operating a Crown/Pack Mule tugger to transport a 300-gallon water trailer for CNC machine maintenance. The position requires daily management of water tank fill-ups and machine top-offs, ensuring operational efficiency across 75+ machines. Additionally, the operator will handle chip bin emptying using an overhead crane, transporting bins weighing 1500-2000 lbs to the Oil Room for processing.
BenefitsHourly wage: $25.00 per hour
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Operate a Crown/Pack Mule tugger to transport water trailers for CNC machine maintenance
Perform daily water tank fill-ups and machine top-offs for over 75 machines
Use an overhead crane to empty chip bins into recyclable luggers
Transport chip bins from designated facility locations to the Oil Room
Return empty bins to their designated locations after processing
Certification in Powered Industrial Vehicle and overhead crane operation is preferred
Previous experience with forklifts, tuggers, and overhead cranes is required
Ability to manage heavy loads and operate industrial machinery safely
Familiarity with CNC machine maintenance and operational procedures
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
