Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 3 years’ experience and required certifications for an ambulatory and hospital setting assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an imaging/radiology department with a focus on breast imaging procedures
• Ambulatory and inpatient hospital patient population
• Perform advanced mammography including stereotactic biopsies, needle localization, and ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Black scrubs are required
• Responsibilities include performing high-quality breast imaging procedures as ordered, preparing and positioning patients, and maintaining imaging records
• Maintain equipment and ensure operational readiness in collaboration with engineering staff
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation protocols at all times
• Ability to serve diverse patient populations, including pediatric through geriatric
• Fifty-mile radius rule applies; no local travelers accepted
• Returning employees may be subject to rehire eligibility verification
• May be expected to train and orient new team members

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Active ARRT, BLS, and TMB certifications required
• Active TX license required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions during flu season (August – November)
