Varnia Veterinary Clinic is on the lookout for a Rockstar Veterinary Assistant. Location: Richmond, VA 23231
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday until 6pm, NO WEEKENDS!
Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00/hour - negotiable based on experience

Veterinary Assistant who's

What You Bring to the Table: - 1-2 years as a Veterinary Assistant or equivalent skills
- You bring enthusiasm to your work, a willingness to learn and a genuine sense of teamwork.
- A friendly and outgoing communicator that brings positivity to each shift.
- Handling and restraining animals with confidence and compassion.
- Supporting the doctors and techs throughout appointments and procedures.
- You are not afraid to jump in and help wherever needed.
- You are quick to learn new skills and eager to grow within our practice.
- You desire a long-term role where you can build meaningful connections.
Your Role in the Pack: - Provide hands-on support for veterinary care including:
- Restraint, gathering patient history, preparing vaccines, filling medications, assisting in exams and treatments.
- Processing in-house labs, surgical prep, and nail trims
- Communicate clearly and kindly with pet owners.
- Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient care throughout the facility.
