What success looks like in this role:
* Design and implement cloud computing solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
* Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
* Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms.
* Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure reliability and efficiency.
* Implement security best practices and compliance measures in cloud environments.
* Automate deployment and management processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
* Provide support and guidance for cloud-related projects and initiatives.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and 0-2 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
* Strong understanding of cloud services and architectures (e.g., compute, storage, networking).
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
* Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
* Cloud certification (AWS Practitioner, Azure Admin, etc.).
* Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
* Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
